Bethel College Visa® Card

A way to give to Bethel and to broadcast Bethel’s name is to use a Bethel College Visa® credit card. Every purchase made with the card strengthens the Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund. The card also increases Bethel College’s name recognition each time it is used.

The Bethel College Visa® card carries no annual fee. Bethel receives a percent-based commission from every purchase made with the card. The commission is deposited directly into the Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund, which provides financial aid to legacy students at Bethel – new students whose grandparent/s, parent/s or sibling/s have attended or currently attend the college. The more the card is used, the more the Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund receives, at no additional cost to the cardholder.

In 1997, the Alumni Council conducted an extensive study of credit card programs in order to provide an affinity card to alumni and friends of Bethel College. After evaluating various programs, the council chose INTRUST Bank, Wichita, as the Visa® card provider for Bethel. INTRUST Bank also serves several other Kansas colleges and universities, including Kansas State University, the University of Kansas and Wichita State University.
